Celebrating 25 Years of Tour de Summerlin

The 2026 Tour de Summerlin marks our 25th year of cycling through the beauty of Southern Nevada, and we are deeply grateful to the sponsors, riders, and volunteers who have supported us every step of the way. From the very beginning, this event has been made possible through the encouragement and support of the Master Planned Community of Summerlin and the Howard Hughes Corporation.

Since 2000, our mission has been simple: create the most rider-friendly cycling event in the Southwest. Twenty-five years later, that commitment is stronger than ever.

A Rider-Friendly Experience

What sets Tour de Summerlin apart is the extensive use of bike lanes throughout our routes. Safety has always been our top priority, and utilizing miles of dedicated lanes ensures the most enjoyable and rider-friendly experience possible. Pair that with Summerlin’s thoughtful amenities and the striking natural beauty of Red Rock Canyon, and you’ve got one of the most scenic and inviting rides in the entire Southwest.

Downtown Summerlin Start & Finish

Our start and finish line once again takes place at the heart of the community — Downtown Summerlin. As one of Southern Nevada’s premier destinations for shopping, dining, and entertainment, it creates an engaging backdrop for riders and supporters alike. Invite your family and friends to enjoy the day, explore Downtown Summerlin, and cheer you across the finish line.

Ride Options for Every Cyclist

We continue to offer three distinct distances: 80 miles, 40 miles, and 20 miles. With the event taking place early in the cycling season, these routes are designed to strike the perfect balance — challenging enough for experienced cyclists, while still attainable for those looking to push themselves or complete a milestone ride for the first time.

Behind the scenes, we are constantly working to enhance the ride experience by monitoring road construction, addressing safety concerns, and minimizing interruptions along the course.
